I am in a rental home and had some issues with rodents in the location.  The landlord contacted an exterminator who came out to spray, leave bait and traps. The process was not working well – I still saw evidence of rodents. I sought out a different solution for my problem.  I recently had the pleasure of working with North Charles Canine of Baltimore, MD. This company was recommended by friends who had heard of this company but hadn’t needed their services. I easily contacted the owner who explained the process. We quickly scheduled an appointment. Evelyn arrived as scheduled. We went over the required paperwork and then I was able to meet Violet.   This dog has been trained to locate rodents and she was ready to go to work. We started out with an exterior search of the house looking for any entry points.  Violet located an entry point at the basement door.  The next step was the interior search where Violet found evidence at the stove, which was where I saw the problem.  Violet also found evidence in the corner of an upstairs room and the same corner in the basement.  These findings were given to the original pest control company who reapplied bait and traps according to Violet’s search. Within days the rodents were caught in the traps and the problem solved.   I couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided by North Charles Canine.  From the moment I contacted them, Evelyn and Violet were professional, responsive, and genuinely interested in helping me with my needs. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I had no knowledge that a dog could be trained to do this.   I watched Violet’s reactions between “no finding” and strong evidence of a possible location. When there was strong evidence of a possible rodent, Violet would alert her handler. It was an amazing process to observe.  Overall, I highly recommend North Charles Canine to anyone looking to get rid of rodents in their home or business. They truly care about their customers and deliver outstanding results. I hope that I do not need their services again but, I wouldn’t hesitate to call if I need them.
